Amanda & Nick’s Wedding, New York City
Nick and I met on Broadway, performing in Woody Allen’s Bullets Over Broadway. It only seemed fitting to have our wedding at The Skylark, a beautiful two level venue in the heart of New York City! The city views from The Skylark are increible and make a stunning backdrop for a wedding! I got my wedding dress from Spina Bride and the designer was Lee Grebenau. It was a gold cystal tulle gown that allowed my sillouhette to show through the skirt! Nick‘s black tuxedo was from Boglioli in Soho. We had an intimate wedding with seventy of our closests friends and family, most were on Broadway with us or Radio City Rockettes. I love flowers so I had Victoria Cleary from the NYC Gathering Florist do our arrangements. The room was scented by Jo Malone who also created a special wedding day scent that I wore for my bridal cologne. My cake I only entrusted to one person, celebrity pastry chef, Zac Young! Zac shares my love of sugar and frosting! He created a blueberry velvet cake with blueberry jam between the ombre layers all covered in cream cheese frosting! With David Katz dj’ing our guests spun around the dance floor, but the highlight for us that evening was our first dance! We had our close friends Clyde and Robyn Alves choreograph our dance for us to the song Nick sang to get hired for Bullets Over Broadway. It was an evening of magic that we will never forget captured by the one and only Andrew Holtz of Holtz Photography!
